Sewer & Watermain Installation
Underground servicing needs to fit the site, the approved design and the construction schedule. Allto undertakes sanitary sewer, storm sewer and watermain installation, along with the related service connections and excavation required for the project.
We review the drawings and specifications, existing utility information, access and ground conditions to establish the construction scope. Work may include:
- Sanitary and storm sewer installation and replacement

Reconstruction in Existing Residential Neighbourhoods
Replacing infrastructure in an established street requires planning around existing utilities, homes, driveways and day-to-day access. Allto carries out underground reconstruction as part of sewer, watermain and road improvement projects.
Construction sequencing, property access, existing service connections and restoration requirements are considered together. We coordinate our work with the project team and applicable municipal requirements, with responsibilities for connections, inspections and any planned service interruptions established before construction.
Our Spruyt Avenue reconstruction project in Grand Valley included a new stormwater system, lateral connections and exterior sump structures, followed by road and surface restoration. It is an example of the coordination required when upgrading infrastructure in an existing neighbourhood.
New Residential Development Servicing
New residential construction depends on underground services being installed in the right sequence with earthworks, road construction and building activity. Allto provides sewer and watermain construction for new residential developments, infill projects and multi-residential sites where municipal servicing is part of the design.
We work from the project drawings to review service routes, connection points, elevations and access. Early coordination helps identify where servicing work needs to be completed before roads, foundations and finished surfaces limit access.

Commercial & Industrial Site Servicing
Commercial and industrial projects may require new service installations, replacement infrastructure or changes to existing services as a property is expanded or redeveloped.
Allto works with owners, consultants and general contractors to coordinate underground servicing with site preparation, building construction, drainage and access requirements. For occupied properties, the construction plan also needs to account for ongoing operations and the agreed work areas.
Related work may include excavation and grading and driveway and parking-lot construction. The estimate identifies the work included and the interfaces with other trades.
