About the Role

Our labourers support excavation, underground servicing, grading and general site-development work on projects typically located within one hour of Orangeville. The role is physically demanding and best suited to someone who is reliable, safety-minded and willing to learn.

What We Offer

• Level 2 labourers: $30 to $40 per hour.
• Level 1 labourers: $22 to $30 per hour.
• Weekly pay based on experience and demonstrated ability.

• Home most nights.
• Typical hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, subject to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist excavation, pipe, grading and site-servicing crews with daily tasks.
• Prepare and move tools, materials and fittings.
• Assist with compaction, backfilling, site cleanup and restoration.
• Operate small tools and compaction equipment after appropriate training.
• Protect completed work, existing services and surrounding property.
• Keep work areas organized and help the crew maintain production.
• Follow instructions and all company safety procedures.

What We Look For

• Two or more years of construction-labour experience is preferred.
• Experience in excavation, underground servicing or civil construction is an asset.
• Physical ability to perform demanding outdoor work in changing conditions.
• Ability to follow direction and complete tasks without constant supervision.
• Willingness to learn grades, plans, lasers and GPS equipment.
• Dependable attendance, clear communication and a safety-focused attitude.
• Valid Ontario G licence and reliable transportation.
