About the Role

Our foremen lead excavation, sewer and water, grading and site-development work on projects typically located within one hour of Orangeville. This is a hands-on field leadership role for someone who can plan the day, organize people and equipment, maintain production and deliver quality work safely.

• Typical hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, subject to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily site activities, crews, equipment, materials and subcontractors.
• Read drawings, confirm grades and communicate the work plan clearly.
• Maintain productivity while meeting project specifications and quality standards.
• Complete daily reporting and communicate issues promptly with project management.
• Coach employees, assign work appropriately and maintain a professional jobsite.
• Lead safe work practices and ensure company procedures are followed.

What We Look For

• At least five years of foreman experience in excavation, civil construction or site servicing.
• Strong knowledge of sewer, watermain, earthworks, grading and underground construction.
• Ability to read plans and use lasers; Trimble GPS experience is a strong asset.
• Confidence leading employees with different skill and experience levels.
• Sound judgment, organization, accountability and practical problem-solving ability.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Valid Ontario G licence and reliable transportation.
